Coffee & Culture: Asia
Thursday, May 5th, 2022 12-1 pm - International Hall
Don’t miss out on the last Coffee & Culture of the semester! This week we’ll be discussing the amazing places where our students will be studying abroad in Asia. We have students heading to Japan and South Korea, as well as students currently attending SSU from China! Stop by and sample snacks and drinks from Asia and get excited about going abroad. This is a great chance to meet students that will be studying abroad over the next year so come by and make some friends before the end of the semester.
Global Goodbye Gathering
May 12th, 12-1 PM in International Hall
The Global Engagement Office’s last event of the semester is the perfect send-off. Come say goodbye to graduates, international students, and your fellow seawolves that will be heading out on study away programs during the upcoming school year. Have some snacks, meet some of the SSU faculty, and wish your friends good luck! The recipient of the IEEC Scholarship will also be announced during this event so make sure to come by if you’ve applied!
NSE Campus Highlight: Wichita State University
Wichita State University is the most racially and ethnically diverse university in Kansas, home to 15 NCAA Division 1 teams, and has 26 sororities and fraternities. Students attending this campus have free tickets to athletic and fine arts events, access to 230 different areas of study, and are incredibly central to all of the fun that Wichita has to offer. This program is ready to accept SSU students so don’t miss your chance. If you have any questions about the application process please make an appointment with Hope Ortiz through Lobo Connect as soon as possible. This is an incredible opportunity!

Sonoma State has quite a few great events coming up before the end of the semester. From a beach bonfire to a finals-themed dinner in The Kitchens, there are plenty of opportunities to hang out with your fellow Seawolves before going home for the summer.
