We offer up to $5,000 USD in International Student Scholarships for all new international students starting a degree program at Sonoma State University who have at least a 3.0 GPA upon admission. Study abroad at SSU for a semester, summer session, or an academic year. The Semester at Sonoma (SAS) program provides the opportunity for international students to study at SSU under the F-1 visa program and take available undergraduate or graduate classes. Students will take courses with SSU students and receive a transcript they can use to apply to their degree program at their home university.
SSU has created international partnerships with universities all around the globe to exchange students. Students are able to attend a partner university for one or two terms, while continuing to pay their home univerisity.
