Study Away this Fall!
It’s not too late to study away for the fall semester! National Student Exchange and Universities Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC) are two incredible programs that help Sonoma State students study away. NSE is the perfect choice for students looking to study in a new area of the US, a United States territory, or Canada, while USAC offers international programs. Plus there are still summer program options available! If you have any questions about the programs or the application process please make an appointment with Hope Ortiz through Lobo Connect as soon as possible. Coffee & Culture: America
Thursday, April 7th, 2022 12-1PM - International Hall
IEEC’s next Coffee & Culture will be a celebration of all the amazing places National Student Exchange candidates will be studying away this Fall semester, such as in Alaska, Arizona, and Hawaii! All are welcome and upcoming NSE students are especially encouraged to stop by to meet other students studying abroad and discuss their upcoming adventures. We’ll be sharing coffee, American snacks, and playing games, so don’t miss out!
Safari West Adventure
Friday, April 8th, 2022 - Deadline to Sign Up: Tuesday, April 5 before 4PM in IH 107
Don’t miss your chance to join the IEEC for a trip to one of Sonoma County’s most amazing locations! Safari West is an animal preserve unlike any other on the West Coast, where you can see nearly 90 different species on a Jeep tour of their 400-acre park. We will also be having lunch on-site, where you can dine while having an incredible view of the animals. This is generally a $135 value but SSU students who sign up will only have to pay $40! Only 4 spaces left!! See the hours listed below for when you can drop by International Hall 107 and pay your deposit! You can also express your interest by signing up online!

NSE Campus Highlight: Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico
The Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico is one of the incredible campuses SSU are able to study at through the National Student Exchange. This university is located in beautiful San Juan and specializes in degree programs for Engineering, Geomatic Sciences, Architecture, and Business Administration. If you have any questions about the application process please make an appointment with Hope Ortiz through Lobo Connect as soon as possible. This is an incredible opportunity.
Tip of the Week: CSU IP is accepting applications until 4/15!
Did you miss the CSU IP application dates? Don’t worry, there are a few programs still accepting applications until April 15th. Countries still accepting applications for the Fall semester or 22-23 school year are Australia, China, Germany, and Mexico. If you have any questions about the application process please make an appointment with Hope Ortiz through Lobo Connect as soon as possible. Don’t miss your chance to go international with this affordable and incredible program.
