IEEC Goes to the Cloverdale Citrus Fair RECAP

Friday’s trip to the Cloverdale Citrus Fair was a great, last trip of the semester. Ten IEEC students made the 40-minute trip north to check out the 130th annual fair! We were able to try classic fair foods like corn dogs, a brick of fries, and funnel cake. There were some fun rides, a magic show, and plenty of shopping booths to check out. It was great to see the international students experience a traditional American fair.

Coffee & Culture Recap

IEEC’s European Coffee & Culture was our busiest one yet! Quite a few students who will be traveling to Europe during the upcoming school year were able to stop by, talk to our European international students, and try some new snacks. We had treats from Sweden, Germany, France, Spain, and Italy, along with an incredible Spanish drink. Students were able to ask questions about studying abroad as well as make plans to meet up once they’re abroad! Thank you to everyone who came by.

Coffee & Culture: Asia

Thursday, May 5th, 2022 12-1 pm - International Hall

Don’t miss out on the last Coffee & Culture of the semester! This week we’ll be discussing the amazing places where our students will be studying abroad in Asia. We have students heading to Japan and South Korea, as well as students currently attending SSU from China! Stop by and sample snacks and drinks from Asia and get excited about going abroad. This is a great chance to meet students that will be studying abroad over the next year so come by and make some friends before the end of the semester.
