IEEC Goes to the Cloverdale Citrus Fair Trip

Friday, April 22nd, 2022 1 pm meet up @ the Flagpole

The Cloverdale Citrus Fair is one of the most anticipated events of the year in Sonoma County so of course, the IEEC will be attending! Come along with us to experience all the fair has to offer, such as rides, food, and carnival games. We’ll be meeting at the flagpole at 1PM and carpooling to the fair together so be sure to sign up as soon as possible to secure your spot! Seeing a traditional American fair is a must, especially for international students!

Cultural Potluck Recap

Thank you to everyone who came and made the turnout at the IEEC Cultural Potluck last Friday so incredible! A little over twenty students came together to share international dishes and spend a few hours talking about travel. We were lucky enough to have students from France, Germany, and the UK share some of their favorite dishes from back home such as crepes and Yorkshire pudding. Having the chance to come together and talk about all of our study abroad experiences made for a great night. There are a few IEEC events remaining before the end of the semester so don’t miss out!

Coffee & Culture: Europe

Thursday, April 21st, 2022 12-1 pm - International Hall

April’s second Coffee & Culture will feature the different areas of Mainland Europe where SSU students will be living and studying. Be sure to stop by and meet the other students who will be heading to Germany, France, Spain, Italy, and more. We’ll be trying snacks and drinks for a variety of different countries, as well as chatting with the European international students currently attending Sonoma State. This is a great way to get even more excited about studying away, so be sure to come!
