GEO Weekly Bulletin - 4/11/22

Check out this week's GEO Bulletin to stay up-to-date on what's happening! This week includes a recap of last week’s great events as well as upcoming opportunities.

American Coffee & Culture Recap

Last Thursday’s Coffee & Culture was a very busy event! Our current international students were joined by future CSU IP and NSE students to discuss their upcoming travels and things that they’re looking forward to experiencing over the coming year. We tried some very interesting American snacks (key lime Hostess cupcakes, anyone?) and talked about where we’d like to go with the National Student Exchange. Sound like fun? Don’t miss out on our next Coffee & Culture where we’ll be sampling foods from Mainland Europe (more info below)!

Safari West Adventure Recap

The IEEC Safari West trip was an incredible experience for both International and SSU students who signed up for Friday’s adventure. The trip started with a delicious buffet lunch with an amazing view of giraffes and flamingos, after which the group departed on a two-hour tour of the property. Some of the animals seen around the property were hyenas, white rhinos, and zebras. It was truly phenomenal to be only feet away from some of these beautiful animals. Make sure to stay up to date on future IEEC events so that you don’t miss out on once-in-a-lifetime events like this!
