IEEC Trip to The Barlow

Burgundy School of Business

The Burgundy School of Business (BSB) offers Sonoma State students the opportunity to spend a semester or school year at one of the best business schools in France! Students studying through this program will be able to pay SSU tuition while living in the heart of France. This program is perfect for students majoring in Business Marketing, Business Management, or Business Supply Chain/Logistics. Applications are due March 10th so make sure to set up a meeting with Hope Ortiz through LoboConnect as soon as possible. You don’t want to miss out!

 

CSU IP Scholarships Available

Students that have applied to study away through CSU IP are eligible to apply for scholarships through their website! There are a few scholarships available based on location, strong academic records, and financial need so don’t miss out on the chance for help funding your studies! Applications are due on March 31st so be sure to start yours as soon as possible! 

 

UK Coffee & Culture Recap

The first Coffee and Culture of the semester was a success! Everyone who attended was able to enjoy a few different British snacks, drink a refreshing Pimms Cup, and try their hand at United Kingdom trivia. This event was particularly exciting for students preparing to study abroad for the coming school year so make sure to attend our next meeting! We’ll be featuring Australia on March 17th (see below) and cannot wait to talk about studying away with you!

 

NSE Campus Highlight: University of Guam

Spend a term on the beautiful island of Guam! The University of Guam offers access to incredible beaches, amazing hikes, and a plethora of other outdoor activities. They also have a world class Marine Laboratory that should not be missed by students studying marine biology. This spectacular campus offers dozens of other majors including Fine Arts, Psychology, and Social Work. These programs are filling up quickly so make sure to set up a meeting with Hope Ortiz through LoboConnect as soon as possible. 


 

Coffee & Culture - Australian Edition 

March 17, 2022, 12-1 PM Outside International Hall

Make sure you don’t miss out on this semester’s Coffee & Culture meetings! As students get ready to study abroad, IEEC will be hosting hour-long get-togethers based on various places students will be heading to. Our second event features Australia and you won’t want to miss out! Come play a fun game of trivia (prizes include popular treats from down under), have some coffee, and talk to SSU’s international students about their experiences!

The Learning and Academic Resource Center (LARC) has tutors available for multiple subjects including math, composition, and business.
