CSU IP Deadline Is Here!

Due March 15th, 2022

Apply Here!

CSU IP’s deadline is here! There are plenty of options available for the Fall semester or the 2022-23 academic year in multiple amazing countries, so start your application as soon as possible! Not studying away is generally cited by students as the number one thing they regret during their college experience so don’t let this happen to you! Set up a meeting with Hope Ortiz through LoboConnect as soon as possible to make sure your application is ready on time.

Coffee & Culture - Australian Edition

March 17, 2022, 12-1 PM Outside International Hall

Make sure you don’t miss out on this semester’s Coffee & Culture meetings! As students get ready to study abroad, IEEC will be hosting hour-long get-togethers based on various places students will be heading to. Our second event features Australia and you won’t want to miss out! Come play a fun game of trivia (prizes include popular treats from down under), have some coffee, and talk to SSU’s international students about their experiences!

Spring Break is Next Week

March 21-25 2022

It’s time for Spring Break! Whether you’re heading on a trip or staying around campus we hope you have an incredible break. Good luck on your midterms and we’ll see you soon, Seawolves!

IEEC Barlow Trip Recap

We set out on another IEEC venture, this time to the Barlow in Sebastopol, the land of luxurious wine tasting, food trucks, restaurants, and dessert shacks. We started out at Pax Wine Cellars, which was a little nichè spot that had a lovely vintage and retro style to it, and poured out the back of a well-refurbished warehouse where we all tasted a selection of four red wines. After our little wine tasting session, we then moved on to get food at Blue Ridge Kitchen. (Although a classic international moment occurred when the three British students struggled to pay for their meal with their British bank cards, as the restaurant didn’t accept international cards, but it was all was sorted out!) We then finished the evening, with a splendid trip to an ice cream parlor that sold sundaes and desserts with an abundance of flavors, this was the real icing on the cake after a lovely evening out with lots of international chat with some great fellow internationals!

IEEC Movie Night

Monday, March 28th, 2022 @ 7 pm

IEEC will be welcoming back students from Spring Break with a movie night in the Student Center. We’ll supply the popcorn and drinks, just bring yourself and some candy. Students will be able to vote between “Mamma Mia” and “Midnight and Paris” on Instagram so make sure you’re following @ssustodyaway to select your pick!
