NSE Priority Placement Deadline

Priority Placement for NSE programs is swiftly approaching! 98% of NSE applicants receive placement during this period so make sure to apply before your school of choice fills up. With NSE, students can choose from over 170 campuses in the US and Canada to spend a summer, semester, or year while paying SSU/in-state tuition and using financial aid! Click on the link above to look through available locations and then schedule a meeting with Hope Ortiz through LoboConnect as soon as possible! 

 

IEEC Welcome Reception Recap

Thursday’s Welcome Reception was a great time for students and faculty alike! International students currently studying at SSU were able to mix and mingle with domestic students who have recently submitted their applications to go abroad in the coming year. There were plenty of snacks and good conversation, plus a peek at the fun IEEC events coming up this semester. Make sure you don’t miss out on the next IEEC gathering!

 

NSE Campus Highlight: University of Alaska Fairbanks

Have an incredible summer in the 49th state by studying away at the University of Alaska Fairbanks! Not only is this campus ranked #10 for the world’s best small universities but it also has globally renowned research centers for subjects such as arctic engineering, geophysics, and supercomputing. There are dozens of majors available through UFA so don’t miss out on a chance to live and study 200 miles away from the Arctic Circle. The deadline for NSE’s priority placement is March 1st, so make sure to set up a meeting with Hope Ortiz through LoboConnect as soon as possible. 

 

Meet the IEEC/GEO Ambassadors at LOBOFest!

February 22nd, 2022 from 11:30-1PM at Seawolf Plaza

Sonoma State is welcoming the Seawolves back to campus with LOBOFest, a series of events and activities to bring the student body together! Don’t miss meeting the IEEC/GEO Ambassadors during the Student Organization Showcase! Look for the table with the flag table cloth and say hello! We’ll have updates on future events happening this semester and can provide information on how to get involved with SSU’s international community. 

 

National Study Abroad Day
