Summary

Get ready for an amazing day trip on November 10th! We’ll carpool to a scenic nature preserve, with plans to meet in the parking lot between 9:30 and 9:45 AM. We’ll kick things off with a quick introduction about the preserve and its original landowners.

At 10:00 AM, we’ll set off on a beautiful trail tour. Around 2:00 PM, we’ll stop for lunch (or snack as you walk, just remember to keep the trail clean!). By 3:00 PM, we’ll return to the house for some conversation and picture-taking. At 3:15 PM, don’t forget to wash your shoes to help prevent the spread of sudden oak death. We’ll wrap up by 3:30 PM and head back to Sonoma.

Itinerary

9:00–9:15 AM: Be ready at the flagpoles by 9 am if you are planning to carpool
9:30–9:45 AM: Arrive at the preserve for a quick intro about the preserve and its original landowners.
10:00 AM: Hit the trail for a guided tour.
2:00 PM: Lunch break on the trail (or snack while walking, but keep the trail clean).
3:00 PM: Return to the house for conversation and pictures.
3:15 PM: Wash shoes to prevent spreading sudden oak death.
3:30 PM: Head back to the car and carpool to Sonoma.
