Welcome to our new international & exchange students!
Welcome to everyone who is new to our beautiful school this semester and welcome back to all returners! We have almost 20 new international and exchange students on campus from all over the world; from France to Fiji to Canada to New Hampshire! Get to know them at our events, including our Welcome Reception! We are wishing everybody good luck at the start of the semester and hope everything goes smoothly!
The Welcome Reception is this Thursday!
Our Welcome Reception is this Thursday, August 29th from 12:00-1:00 pm. We will be welcoming everyone, new and old, to Sonoma State. We will be acknowledging the recipients of the International Student Scholarship. There will also be a photo contest and food, so make sure you swing by!
Introducing the Global Ambassador team
Our Global Ambassador team is here to help. All of our ambassadors are happy to chat about our experiences, and would love to give advice! Swing on by during our office hours if interested!
Coffee & Culture starts next week!
Coffee & Culture starts up again next week! So come on by September 5th, 12:00-1:00 to chat! The theme is Australia and all are welcome!
Program Highlight: Winter in Japan
The deadline for applying to spend January in Japan is coming up! Have the chance to travel across Japan while taking a KIN or CCJS class. SSU event of the week:
Tuesday night Trivia and Friday Night Live: Minute to Win it Tournament
We have two SSU events being highlighted this week and that is the Tuesday Night Trivia, at Lobo’s Pub from 6:30-8:00 pm, if you want to test your trivia knowledge; and the Friday Night Live: Minute to Win it Tournament at W&B from 7:30-9:30 pm to participate in some fun challenges!
