WIVA Program Highlight: Teach in Taiwan Program
Apply for the TEACH Fellowship in Taiwan sponsored by AICEE and IIE. Teachers must apply by April 15 for priority placement. Fellows teach various subjects in Taipei and New Taipei City, receiving a monthly stipend of $2,000-$2,800 USD, along with flight reimbursement, visa assistance, and cultural activities! To be eligible, candidates must: be native English speakers with U.S. citizenship, possess a teaching license, possess TESOL/TEFL certificate with 120 hours experience or two years of teaching experience. SSU Event of the Week: Trans Day of Visibility: Documentary Screening and Discussion!
Thursday, March 29 at 1:00pm in The HUB Cultural Center
The HUB Cultural Center will be screening the documentary Disclosure! Join in for the screening and a post-viewing discussion and debrief focused on community care and critical reflection. This documentary highlights the history of transgender visibility in film and television media and its subsequent impacts on both the trans community and pop culture.
