Happy Start of the Semester!

Though the rain may be gloomy, it can also remind us that spring is right around the corner! Pretty soon we will see the sun and flowers that mark springtime. We hope the start of the term has gone smoothly and your semester will be fruitful! In the meantime, happy Lunar New Year (Feb. 10) and be sure to stay up-to-date on all of the events we have planned! This semester we are welcoming to campus our new international and exchange students from all over the globe, including France, India, Hawaii, Minnesota, New York, and New Jersey! Some are here for just the semester, while others are seeking a degree from SSU. We hope you will join us in welcoming them to the Noma Nation!

 

Meet the New Ambassadors

Meet the Spring 2024 Global Ambassadors! Stop by their office hours to chat, hear about their experiences, and ask for advice. Coffee & Culture will start up next week and they will occasionally be hosting study away application workshops this semester too! 

 

Psychology in Ireland Summer Program Information Meeting, Tuesday, Feb. 6 @ 12PM in International Hall 107

Are you interested in studying abroad in Ireland this summer? Want to learn about how our dreams, myth, culture, and the land all interconnect in a historically rich landscape? Then you should check out the summer faculty-led program for PSY 322: Myth, Dream, & Symbol and you can learn more by attending an information meeting! We are holding three this semester, including one this Tuesday at 12PM in International Hall 107! Other info meeting times:

Program Highlight: Wine Business in Italy!

Want to learn about wine marketing while touring southern Italy this summer? Make sure you check out this amazing faculty-led program and apply by the deadline, February 15! his course will focus on 6 Italian wine regions in Southern Italy: Lazio, Sicily, Basilicata, Calabria, Puglia, and Molise. This program will run with an undergraduate and graduate cohort simultaneously.

Want to get involved on campus? Be sure to stop by the SSU Club Fair in Seawolf Plaza on Wednesday, Feb. 7 between 11AM-1PM. IEEC will be there!
