Coffee & Culture Recaps: Germany + Pumpkin Carving
On Thursday, October 19th, the SSU German club joined IEEC to share insight into German food, games, and culture. Attendees enjoyed discussion on differences between the USA and Germany regarding topics such as sex ed, pop culture, and more. Students planning on studying abroad were also able to chat with German students about life in Germany and what to expect. On Thursday, October 26th students also gathered in International Hall 107 for a fun pumpkin carving activity. Coincidentally this event landed on Pumpkin Day and was a great way to gather with students and relax after exams. We hope those who celebrated had a fun halloweekend!
Haunted House Recap
On Sunday, October 22nd, IEEC held a fundraiser in collaboration with Blind Scream Haunted House! Volunteers enjoyed a free dinner and a quick scare lesson before being put in costume and spooking the haunted house visitors. Thank you to everyone who participated!
