IEEC Goes to the Barlow Recap

On Friday the 17th, the IEEC met at the Barlow in Sebastopol to enjoy plenty of food, drinks, and desserts! This was a good opportunity to meet new people and share experiences whilst taking part in fun activities! Coffee & Culture: France-Themed Recap

The IEEC held its second Coffee & Culture of the semester last week. This time, we discussed France whilst enjoying some French-themed treats! Those from France, studied abroad in France, and those interested in France or studying away in France joined us to share their experiences and learn about French culture!

 

Coffee & Culture This Week: US & Canada!
Thursday, February 23 from 12-1PM in International Hall 107

Interested in studying away in America or Canada, or just want to learn more about these countries? Join the IEEC on Thursday, February 23 for our next Coffee & Culture of the semester, US & Canada! We will have some American/Canadian treats whilst we discuss everything American! These study away location-themed Coffee & Cultures take place every week and are an opportunity for international students and anyone interested in studying away to meet and share experiences.

 

Study Away Program Highlight: National Student Exchange

Interested in Studying Away? Apply to the National Student Exchange (NSE) by March 1st! This program allows you to study in other universities across the U.S and Canada! You can study everyone from Hawaii to Puerto Rico, Canada to Texas, Washington to New York, Ohio to Alabama, and everyone in between! Summer, semester, and yearlong options are available. See what it’s like to live somewhere else in the US, make connections for graduate school and future career opportunities, try different foods, see new vistas, and make new friends. 

 

Gilman Scholarship: Deadline March 9

In the process of applying to study abroad next year and do you currently receive the Federal Pell Grant? The Gilman Scholarship supports undergraduates with financial aid to study or intern abroad! Students can receive up to $8,000 to help pay for their study abroad experience!
