IEEC Pizza & Game Night
February 9, 2022, from 6-8 at the Beaujolais Village Meeting Room
Join the IEEC for a night of pizza and games! This kickback is the perfect way to get to know fellow study-away candidates, alumni, and international students before the semester gets too hectic. Pizza is free and there will be plenty of games, so bring your appetite and competitive spirit. A green health check is required.
Study Wine Business in Italy this Summer

Are you an SSU business major? Don’t miss out on studying wine business in Italy this summer. BUS 396 is an 11-day program where students are able to stay in Rome, Siena, and Venice while earning credits. There will be 11 winery tours plus visits to olive farms and cheese factories. The application deadline is February 15th so please set up an appointment with Hope Ortiz through LoboConnect as soon as possible if you’re interested.
Spring Welcome Reception
February 17th, 2022 from 12-1PM at International Hall
Join the Global Engagement Office and IEEC for their traditional beginning of the semester event! This event is the perfect way to meet fellow domestic and international students and to learn more about studying away. There will be food, a photo contest, and opportunities to make lifelong friends. Stay tuned for more information and don’t forget to mark the date down on your calendar.
NSE Campus Highlight: University of New Orleans

Explore New Orleans with the National Student Exchange. The University of New Orleans offers classes for dozens of majors and is located in one of the United States’ most vibrant cities. Earn credits towards your degree or general education while exploring the home of jazz, cajun food, and creole culture. The Preferred Deadline for NSE is February to get $25 off your NSE app fee, so make sure to set up a meeting with Hope Ortiz through LoboConnect as soon as possible.

GEO Ambassadors Drop-In Schedule
Interested in studying away? Have questions about the different programs available? Want to hear about their experiences? Meet with a GEO ambassador! Ambassadors are available Monday through Thursday. All you need to do is check the calendar for a time that works best for you and drop into their Zoom. Ambassadors can help you find a program, help navigate the websites, and tell you about their own study away experiences. Many Fall ‘22 and ‘22-’23 program deadlines are coming up soon so drop in ASAP!
