Interested in studying away in the United States or Canada? Check out the National Student Exchange Virtual Fair! With NSE, there are options to spend a summer, semester, or a year at universities across the continent, including Guam, Puerto Rico, and Hawaii.These sessions will introduce NSE, financing studying away, and much more. Tuesday’s meeting is about LGBTQIA friendly NSE campuses and Thursday will discuss College Towns, so stop by both if you can! You can also view previously recorded sessions, such as universities in specific regions of the US and Canada, Beach/Island campuses, Big Sports Schools, City Campuses, and more on the website!

CSU IP Priority Deadline for Spring: Wednesday September 15th
The CSU IP priority deadline is coming up quickly! Drop in to GEO Peer Advising to review your application or reach out to hope.ortiz@sonoma.edu for more information.
Fulbright Campus Deadline: Wednesday September 15th
The 15th is also the deadline for the campus’ Fulbright deadline. Fortunately the national deadline isn’t until October. Please reach out to Hope Emry Ortiz if you’re interested or have any questions at hope.ortiz@sonoma.edu.
Volunteer Opportunity: Converse with Japanese Students
Sonoma State American Language Institute (SSALI) provides online classes for students in Japan over Zoom! These classes focus on English language instruction and conversations. They are looking for volunteers for a 15 week program to lead short, student group conversations -- Mondays and Wednesdays from October to February from 4-5 PM.

IEEC Welcome Event

Interested in making new friends with international students or having a chance to experience a different culture? Join the International Education Exchange Council (IEEC)! The IEEC is a blend of international students, SSU students that have studied away, and students that plan on going abroad soon! Check out their Welcome Event to get a peek at some of the fun things they have planned for the rest of the semester and make some new friends!
As this is an in-person event, all attendees will need to show they’ve completed their daily wellness check and we may need to wear masks, depending on attendance and proximity.
