Paint Night
Friday, October 7 @ 7PM in the Cooperage

Don’t miss the next IEEC event which takes place THIS WEEK on Friday 7 October 2022. The IEEC will be at the Cooperage from 7pm to 9pm for a paint night! Don’t hesitate to come, you don’t need to be an artist or bring any supplies, the aim is to have a good time together and get to know each other while painting. Upcoming Deadlines: 

Oct 6 – Gilman scholarship application: 
Thursday 6 October is the deadline for The Gilman Scholarship Program, a program of the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and is assisted in its implementation by the Institute of International Education (IIE).  This program provides scholarships to US undergraduate citizens of limited financial means (eligible for the Pell Grant) to study and do internships abroad. The amount of the scholarships can be as high as 8,000 dollars!

Oct 11 – Fulbright National Deadline: 
If you want to spend a year abroad after graduation, don't miss the deadline of Tuesday 11 October to apply to Fulbright. This U.S. Government-sponsored program gives young people the opportunity to study or teach English abroad. Oct 15 – Direct Exchange: BSB, Niigata, and Leeds
On Saturday 15 October 2022, is the deadline for direct exchange (BSB, Niigata, Leeds). Don't hesitate to check out the application site and if you need some help and some more information you can take an appointment with Hope Ortiz through Lobo Connect. Don’t miss your chance to study abroad! 

 

IEEC Goes to the Occidental Farmer’s Market!

Want to experience the heart of Sonoma County? Then you have to check out the Occidental Farmer’s Market with IEEC next Friday! This gives you a chance to check out a hidden gem of Sonoma, the town of Occidental which is hidden away in the Redwoods and near the coast, as well as participate in a favorite local pastime, shopping at a Farmer’s Market!
