Explore the world of wine while traveling through South America’s most renowned wine regions on this 14-day faculty-led study abroad program. Students will visit vineyards, wineries, and olive oil producers in Uruguay, Argentina, and Chile, including Canelones, Mendoza, and the Maipo Valley, while gaining hands-on exposure to the business of wine. The course examines global wine trends, international partnerships, and the regional factors that shape the industry, with opportunities to participate in tastings, guided tours, and company visits. Along the way, students will experience the culture, cuisine, and beauty of three vibrant countries at the 30th parallel south.
Estimated Costs:
Tuition and fees: $1,610
Ground expenses: $4,000

Additional meals and personal expenses: $700 (estimated)
Total program cost: $7,610
Ground expenses include:
- Housing throughout the program
- Transportation throughout the program, including between different cities
- Wine tastings and other program inclusions (please note, participants must be 21 to drink alcohol on this program)
- Any required on-site fees
- 15 meals (8 breakfasts, 3 lunches, 4 dinners)
What is not included: Flight to Montevideo, Uruguay, and return flight from Santiago, Chile, additional meals not included in the program, and personal expenses.
