USAC Program Highlight: Czech Republic

Interested in studying abroad in Prague? The deadline to apply for Spring semester through USAC is October 15th. Don't miss your chance!

Situated in the middle of the Czech Republic, Prague is an excellent destination for lovers of history and the outdoors. With its over 1000-year-long history, the city offers a unique blend of old and new in its art, architecture, and culture. Marvel at Prague’s beauty from the hills around the city, from old bridges and steamer ships on the Vltava River, and even from a rowboat. With its narrow, curved streets, marvelous courtyards, and green parks, you can easily walk or ride a bike around the city.

You can attend for a semester, January session, academic year, or one or two summer sessions. Course topics include Central Europe and the Czech Republic, politics, literature, history, business, psychology, sociology, and the arts. Semester or yearlong students will also learn the basics of the Czech language in a two-week Czech intensive course at the beginning of each semester. Additionally, semester students may also choose to complete an internship, which provides an unmatched opportunity to practice your language skills and gain professional international experience.
