Due: March 20th for Fall/Year Programs
USAC Highlight: St Andrews, Scotland
The St Andrews program gives students the opportunity to live and study in a medieval seaside town at a centuries-old university while experiencing Scottish culture and daily life in a charming college setting. The University of St Andrews offers a wide range of courses, including art history, astrophysics, Biblical studies, biology, chemistry, languages, computer science, economics, international relations, neuroscience, philosophy, psychology, sustainable development, and many more. Each term also features courses focused specifically on Scottish and U.K. studies, and students may choose to attend for a fall semester, spring semester, or a full academic year. Outside the classroom, vibrant campus life, university traditions, and included field trips throughout Scotland enrich students’ cultural and historical understanding. Studying in Scotland provides the added benefit of learning from research-active professors while engaging with the country’s distinct traditions, perspectives, and global outlook, creating both personal growth and academic challenge.
