IEEC Trivia at Flagship!

Thursday, March 27th, from 7-10 PM at Flagship Taproom in Cotati

Join us for a specially themed trivia night at Flagship Taproom Cotati! Enjoy delicious food, drinks (must be 21+ to consume alcohol), and a fun, quizzical atmosphere with friends. Test your knowledge and challenge your team in a lively, casual setting. It’s a perfect opportunity to bond with friends, make new ones, and enjoy some friendly competition. Plus, it’s very dog-friendly, so feel free to bring your furry companions along for the fun! Don't miss the March 14th deadline to sign up for the trivia event. IEEC Goes to UC Davis Global Conference 

Saturday, April 5th, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM, in UC Davis International Center

Come learn about global perspectives that are valuable in today’s interconnected and rapidly evolving world at UC Davis Global Conference! Learn to articulate and market those skills in your career search while advancing your personal and professional goals. This conference will provide opportunities to network with potential employers, showcase your experience in your resume and cover letter, hear from seasoned professionals in a variety of fields, connect with like-minded peers, and explore resources and opportunities for your future. The deadline to sign up is March 19th! Make sure to sign up for both the IEEC trip sign-up form and the UC Davis Global Conference. The event is only $20!

Coffee & Culture: Saint Patrick's Day!

Thursday, March 13th from 12-1 PM in IH107

Come experience the warmth of Irish culture and the charm of its famous hospitality. Sip on a delicious cup of coffee while learning about the unique country. Explore how this country blends spirit with the enchanting Irish landscape, offering an incredible opportunity to immerse yourself in Ireland’s vibrant history. BSB Application Deadline

March 10th 

If you are interested in applying to the Burgundy School of Business, time is running out! Applications are due on March 10th, so be sure to turn them in by the end of the day today! This school is known as one of the best business schools in France. Its location close to major European city centers is a great way to explore the area and gain valuable experience. CSUIP Application Deadline

March 15th

Applying to study away for next year or next semester? Possibly considering enrolling in the California State University International Programs, our primary study abroad program? This option offers unique opportunities for academic and cultural experiences. Each program provides a chance to study at different institutions. Application deadlines are coming up, so be sure to submit your application by March 15th to ensure your application is received! March 30th

If you are looking for options, EM Normandie, the University of Leeds, Niigata University, and the University of Liverpool are all amazing universities. Niigata University offers many different programs under the purview of 10 different faculties, with some of the focuses being education, engineering, agriculture, and health sciences. The University of Liverpool has a lot to offer and is a great way for students to learn about other cultures. The University of Leeds is a great school that ranks as one of the highest in the world in the QS World University Rankings. EM Normandie is a fantastic university for business students that offers a wide range of cultural diversity.

NSE Rolling Admission for Summer, Fall, and Spring

Afraid you missed your chance to enroll in National Student Exchange, our program to study away within the US or Canada with over 160 partner universities? Do not fret, as rolling admissions are still being accepted. With programs still offering many schools all over the US, Puerto Rico, and Canada, it’s a great opportunity to explore other areas of our beloved continent! If you need any assistance with your application, please feel free to come to the Global Engagement Office in IH 107 and ask our ambassadors to help you!

SSU Event of the Week: Cooking Class: Chicken Biryani

Tuesday, March 11th, 3-4 PM, in The Kitchens

Join Culinary Services this Tuesday to learn how to make the classic Indian dish of chicken Biryani! In this culinary class taught by Executive Chef Don Cortes, you will learn new techniques to help you in the kitchen while simultaneously having a hands-on experience in a positive environment.
