Program Highlight: Fulbright Grant
Are you wondering what to do after graduating? Want to do something internationally? The Fulbright Grant is an amazing opportunity to receive funding to teach English, attend graduate school, or conduct research abroad! This US government-sponsored program provides opportunities for college graduates to create connections in a complex and changing world. During their grants, Fulbrighters will meet, work, live with, and learn from the people of the host country, sharing daily experiences. The program facilitates cultural exchange through direct interaction on an individual basis in the classroom, field, home, and in routine tasks, allowing the grantee to gain an appreciation of others’ viewpoints and beliefs, the way they do things, and the way they think. The Sonoma State campus deadline is September 15, so be sure to reach out to Hope Ortiz for advising and support!
