Coffee & Culture Recap
Thank you to all who dropped by last week’s Coffee & Culture, we loved seeing you all! It was a wonderful way to start October and we hope all that came enjoyed the treats and conversations! All the pretzels were eaten and all the cider drunk, so we would say a successful time! Keep an eye out for next week’s Coffee & Culture on 10/17, with the theme: France! As always, a reminder that Coffee & Culture is an event hosted by IEEC biweekly and we look forward to seeing you at the next one!
Camping Recap
Thank you to all who joined IEEC at our camping event! It was a great trip right on the beach as a way to get away from the heat! A fun campout dinner to round out an all-around great night! We hope everyone enjoyed their time at Bodega Dunes! Make sure to check out our page for future events from IEEC!
Deadline to sign up for Blind Scream Fundraiser is Oct 11!
IEEC will be volunteering at Blind Scream in Santa Rosa. If you like haunted houses and scaring people sounds like a great way to spend your Friday night, then be sure to sign up! You will get a free dinner and get all costumed and make-up done up to help patrons celebrate the spooky season! Plus, you will help IEEC raise money for the club, which provides funding for our events, such as snacks and Coffee & Culture, as well as funding for the annual IEEC Study Away Scholarship. So, if you like attending our events, please sign up here for our Blind Scream Fundraiser!
Application Workshops
Tuesday, October 8th 11-12, Wednesday 9th 2-3pm, Monday, October 14th, 1-2
Want someone to look over your application? Come on down to IH 107 on any of the above dates and times and our Global Ambassadors will be there to answer any questions you might have. Feel free to bring whatever you need to accomplish this mighty task and tell your friends about the option! These workshops are open to all, so we hope to see you there!
Program Highlights: BSB, Leeds, Niigata
Applications due October 15th
There are some fun programs that are coming up on their Application deadline! One of those programs is the Burgundy School of Business in Dijon, France. If you’ve ever wanted to study business in another country this program could be a great fit for you! The second program that is being highlighted is the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom. This program offers many different types of courses to keep you on track to graduate on time! The third program that is being highlighted this week is Niigata University in Niigata, Japan. This program offers many different programs under the purview of 10 different faculties, with some of the focuses being education, engineering, agriculture, and health sciences. If any of these locations or programs feel like the one for you, make sure to check out our website and get those applications in by October 15th!
Financing Study Away Workshop

Have questions about how you should finance your study away? Attend our Financing Study Away Workshop to ask those questions and figure out any tips or tricks to getting the most out of what you have during your travels. This workshop is open to all and we hope to see you all there!
Gilman Scholarship Final Reminder! Deadline October 10
The Gilman Scholarship is a scholarship awarded to applicants who are looking to develop the future of American leaders. This scholarship is available to students of all backgrounds and all studies. This scholarship allows students to pursue study abroad opportunities where they develop individual growth. If this scholarship sounds like it would be a good fit for you, you can find more information as well as the application on the Gilman website here.

Associated Students Productions is hosting a fantabulous event this Friday! Celebrate National Coming Out Day with these amazing Queens from Drag Queen Entertainment LLC!
