Coffee & Culture Recap: All Europe!
The theme for our final Coffee & Culture of the semester was All Europe! This time, we discussed study away opportunities in Europe and talked about the culture and landscapes of the European countries! Those who have studied away in Europe and those interested in studying away in Europe joined us to chat and share their experiences! Annabelle Alibert Feminism Lecture

We're super excited to be hosting Annabelle Alibert, French teaching assistant and Fulbright scholar here at SSU, as she presents a lecture/discussion on Feminism in France! Join us for a short presentation followed by a lively conversation on feminism around the world. See you there this Thursday!
IEEC Does Scandia Recap!
Over the weekend, the IEEC went to Scandia! Scandia Family Fun Center is an amusement park located in Rohnert Park, offering mini-golf, batting cages and go-karts and an arcade and pizza counter! Everyone had fun trying to navigate one of the two award-winning 18 hole miniature golf courses that featured ponds, fountains and a variety of obstacles to overcome! After completing the mini-golf, we had the opportunity to play arcade games before stopping at In ‘N Out! This was a great opportunity to hang out with friends and meet new people!
IEEC Craft Night!

Graduating this semester or just want to take some time to relax before finals? Join the IEEC on Friday the 5th for Craft Night! Bring along some old pasta sauce or jam jars to decorate and create graduation gift jars for yourself or anyone you know that might be graduating this semester!
Student Acceptance Highlight: Madeline Fulbright
Congratulations to Madeline Hansen on her Fulbright acceptance for US graduates to teach English abroad for the 2023-24 school year! Madeline will be working as an English teacher in Germany, having a passion for the German language since she started learning in high school. The US Fulbright Student Program provides grants for study/research projects and English teaching assistants all around the world. Find out more about Madeline’s experience here!
