NSE Priority Deadline Placement: March 1st

    Want to pursue research, internship opportunities, or live in a different geographic and cultural setting? National Student Exchange will provide you with academic benefits, personal benefits, and professional benefits within a different university. Make sure to apply by this deadline to ensure you get your first choice placement!

Scholarship Opportunity: Gilman Scholarship 

Deadline has been EXTENDED to MARCH 9!    

The Gilman Scholarship Program is a program of the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and is assisted in its implementation by the Institute of International Education (IIE). The Gilman Program provides grants for undergraduate U.S. citizens of limited financial means (Pell Grant Eligible) to study and intern abroad, thereby gaining skills critical to our national security and economic prosperity. Scholarship amounts can be up to $8,000!

 

IEEC Event: International Love Jeopardy Night on Thursday, February 25th, 7 pm - 8 pm

Do you know which country has the most single people? What is the average marriage age in Japan? What’s the most popular beverage to drink on a first date? What better way to celebrate the month of love than with a fun game of Jeopardy? SSU’s IEEC and GEO invite you to a virtual game of Jeopardy where you can put your knowledge of international love to the test. This game is in the form of a quiz competition where contestants will be presented with information phrased as a question and then phrase their answer in the form of a question. The participant with the most points gets a PRIZE!


 

A.S. Election: March 9th - March 11th

If you vote in the A.S. Election, you will have the ability to donate $5 to SSU’s International Education Exchange Council (IEEC), SSU Club #40!

This is a great opportunity to ask questions about their time abroad and see how their time away still affects them after graduation.
