CSU IP DEADLINE EXTENDED TO APRIL 15TH, 2021

Still not too late to apply to study away next year! Study away at top universities around the world, register for unique classes that may not be offered at Sonoma State, and experience a culture that you might have never experienced before!

Programs that are usually not open for the Final Deadline are the United Kingdom, Spain, France, and Italy!

Thought about traveling or studying away in Europe? This Thursday, April 8th, Angie Durkee will be sharing her time studying away in Spain on Sonoma State University Global Engagement Office Instagram! Angie Durkee studied away at Universidad Alfonso X El Sabio in Madrid, Spain for the 2014 - 2015 academic year. She loved her time in Spain so much that she would like to share more about how studying away affected her even after graduating. Stay tuned in for Angie's takeover where she will share her study away experience, travel tips, academic life and her year living in Spain. This is a great opportunity to listen to her story on how living in one of Europe's strongest art scenes set against a backdrop of endless fiestas impacted her undergraduate experience!

National Student Exchange is still rolling admissions who are currently available for exchange. Act now!! Do not delay your application any further! Here are a number of universities that you can study away at or who have limited space.

Studying away with National Student Exchange will give you different experiences based on the courses you can take and the region of your host university. You can study away at HBCU, tropical universities, attend a large campus and so much more. Studying away can be less of a challenge than registering for classes at Sonoma State University so make sure to apply now before it’s too late!

Sonoma States Global Engagement Office also has two study away alumna who have experienced studying and living in Granada, Spain. Fund For Education Abroad Scholar and Study Away Acceptance Highlight: Abraham Garcia Nunez

Huge congratulations to Abraham Garcia Nunez for earning the Fund For Education Scholarship. In his journal entry, he shares his top three goals while abroad, which you can view! Abraham is a first-generation college student who was accepted into the CSU International Programs for the 2021 - 2022 academic year. His adventures in Paris, France will be endless!

The mission of the Fund for Education Abroad (FEA) is to provide scholarships and ongoing support to students who are underrepresented among the U.S. study abroad population. FEA makes life-changing, international experiences accessible to all by supporting students of color, community college, and first-generation college students before, during, and after they participate in education abroad programs.
