Global Roots Festival Recap:

On Saturday, September 23rd, the International Education Exchange Council (IEEC) attended the Global Roots Festival held at Sonoma State’s Green Music Center. Students were able to watch various stages with music from around the world and participate in workshops. Some of our favorite performances included a Scotish fiddle and cello duo, and a vibrant celebration of Mexican music with Mariachi Herencia! After these performances, we ended the afternoon discussing cultural traditions while relaxing on the lawn of Weil Hall. For more information on upcoming IEEC events, make sure to check out @ssustudyaway on Instagram and sign up using this Google form!

Coffee and Culture: International Music Video Edition!

Let’s keep the Coffee and Culture rolling! On September 28th we’ll be diving into music from around the world! IEEC invites you to bring 2 international music videos to watch, share, and discuss with the group. Whether it's music from your home country, K-pop, Afrobeats, EDM, we’d love to hear it all! Meet us in Internaional Hall 107 from 12pm-1pm.
