First Coffee and Culture Recap

On Thursday, September 7th, the International Education Exchange Council (IEEC) held their first Coffee and Culture of the semester. Half of the attendees were study away alumni while the other participants were students interested in going abroad! It was a nice opportunity to reminisce about our travel endeavors, discuss classes, and also give advice to our peers. Coffee and Culture is held every Thursday from 12pm to 1pm in International Hall 107 with different themes each week!

Free Tickets for the Global Roots Festival! Sign up by September 12th!

The Green Music Center is launching a new world music festival called Global Roots Sonoma on September 23rd, 2023. It features four stages (three indoors and one outside on the terrace) with 12 bands playing music from all over the world, with a mission to connect Sonoma State to the globe. We have (limited) free tickets to the Global Roots Festival. If you would like to attend please fill out the IEEC Trip Sign-Up Form by Tuesday, September 12th! It will be first-come first-serve!

Coffee and Culture Asia!

The Coffee and Culture theme for Thursday, September 14th is all things Asia! Join us from 12pm-1pm in International Hall 107. Sip on some coffee (or green tea) and ask any questions! The Global Engagement Office ambassadors Sabrina and Wesley, will be providing snacks from South Korea and Japan! We hope to see you there!
